Eber Lake (Eber gölü), which is within Çay, Bolvadin and Sultandağ’s borders and is located within an area of 150 square kilometers, is waiting to be discovered as a magnificent lake. Located on the bird’s migration route, the lake is a breeding center and habitat for many bird species. Eber Lake, where many plant species grow, is the only place in the world where Eber Yellow is grown. It is possible to see the most beautiful shades of green and blue in Lake Eber, which is known for its floating islets and is home to many fish species.
Preserved in Anatolia is the Acıgöl, which is one of the major lakes due to its bird population. The lake, which is an important habitat for living creatures due to its soda water, is one of the special regions hosting flamingo flocks in summer and winter. In Acıgöl, where migratory birds such as gulls, wild geese, wild ducks, cranes, cormorants, pelicans, storks and raptors such as eagles, hawks and harriers are seen, observing these birds from the bird watching tower is one of the most beautiful activities.

Bayat Rugs
One of the settlements of Bayat Boyu, a branch of the Oghuz tribe, in Anatolia is the Bayat District of Afyonkarahisar. Rug weaving has a cultural significance in Bayat Boyu as it was in Oğuzlar. Bayat Rugs, which have an important historical background, emerge as an important product contributing to the cultural texture and economy of Afyon today. Handcrafted rugs decorating young girls' dowries continue to be produced without spoiling the historical and cultural tradition. The Bayat Rugs, produced by using natural plant root dyes with yarn made from pure wool, attract the attention of visitors with their rich motifs.
It is the first and only patented rug in Türkiye, as the root dyes used in these rugs and whose raw material is 100% wool will retain their colour without fading for 120 years.
Marble
Afyonkarahisar is one of the trademark cities that have made a name both in our country and in the world in marble. It is known that marble production, which has a history as old as the first settlement in the region, has existed in Afyonkarahisar for more than 3000 years. With its rich and high quality marble beds, Afyonkarahisar is one of the few cities where the marble sector is highly developed. Many civilizations that have settled in Afyonkarahisar from the Hittites until today dealt with marble production as an important source of income, apart from agriculture and animal husbandry. It is seen that marble has been used in many historical artefacts and structures from ancient times until today.
